Normal wear and tear will over time make some repairs necessary, like rehairs. There are several things that need special attention as they differ from other bows.

Accident?

Luckily we have not experienced this very often, but even the super-strong Arcus bow might fail under severe conditions. In this case please contact us via your dealer or directly. We will make a special offer to replace or repair any defective parts of your bow.

Early Arcus-Bows / Paint / Balance

Since we started we continue improving our bows. By inspecting the pictures on this site closely you might find some differences to your bow. Maybe it looks like this:

During the first years we painted our sticks. To make sure the paint would not dampen the sound we applied it very sparingly - on so its durability was somewhat limited. We can of course remove the old paint and polish the bow for you.

One other topic is the balance of the bow. Many players prefer a balance point that is more towards the tip. This can be altered for example with a lighter winding or by replacing the steel screw with one from titanium.
