The Sonata offers unsurpassed virtuosity for even a small budget. Its sound matches wooden bows at double the price and about every other composite bow. The outfit is simple but elegant and modern. The frog is cut from real ebony with inlays from natural mother of pearl. The tip plate is solid sterling silver, the other parts are nickel silver. The Sonata is a great bow for players with a good technique but a limited budget, which makes it our preferred model for advanced students. Because of its agility it is also well appreciated by folk players. Sonata violin:

The Veloce offers nearly the same resonance quality as the Sonata. It is a little heavier, pulls a warm and relative dark sound, with a very straightforward and easy handling, which makes it a perfect bow for students and amateurs. In all aspects half way between the Sinfonia and the Veloce is the Allegro. |
