The mounting in solid gold does not only follow the tradition of bow making, but also offers the best durability due to its superior strength and corrosion-resistance. The same applies for the especially strong snake wood of the frogs. Because of the density of gold, the weight of these bows is about 2 grams higher than the Cadenza silver.
